Its own language, limits and properties. Getting to know and understand them is a beautiful challenge and the first step of every work.
Shaping Visions
Rough sketches are made, textures chosen.
The materials are shaped into what they are supposed to be, by hand or sewing machine.
No glues, no shortcuts, just patience and attention to detail.
Finishing Touches
The finished layer of texture is stretched and stapled onto a stretcher frame that has been chosen and built for this specific artwork.
Steam gives it its final shape.
